Company Joins 147 Other Firms on SIA’s 2020 List of Diversity Staffing Firms

ROCKVILLE, Md. – August 31, 2020 -- Cella, a nationwide staffing, consulting and managed solutions firm, today announced that its 16 years of being a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) has been recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions. Cella is listed on SIA’s 2020 U.S. and Canada Diversity Staffing Firms List for the second year in a row.

Founded in 1986, Cella is the industry’s leading resource for employers and job seekers in the creative, marketing, digital and proposal development spaces. It is a certified WBE recognized by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization. The organizations’ stringent credentialing process has confirmed that Cella is at least 51 percent owned, managed and controlled by a woman or women.

“Cella is proud to be a woman-owned and operated company, and we are passionate about helping our clients win and helping talent build meaningful careers,” said Cella Co-CEO, Terra Campbell. “We are happy to be included again on SIA’s list, but we also understand that diversity and inclusion should not just be a nice-to-have. Our vivid vision is to be a light of positivity, good intent and inclusion in the communities in which we work and live. We believe diversity makes us stronger, and are committed to continuing to learn, grow, listen and change.”

In a press release about the awards, Subadhra Sriram, Editor & Publisher, Media Products, at SIA, said, “SIA’s diversity-supplier list dates back over a decade, with a focus on heightening visibility for the list and for the ongoing conversation around diversity and inclusion in more recent years. But diversity and inclusion cannot remain just a conversation. The workforce solutions ecosystem must continue to address the racism and cultural bias that impacts the hiring process and the talent industry-wide. It is our hope that this list helps companies to support diversity and inclusion in business ownership and keeps a spotlight on the changes that are needed to advance more diverse and inclusive communities.”
