ROCKVILLE, Md. SEPTEMBER 13, 2021 -- Cella, a nationwide staffing, consulting and managed solutions firm, today announced that Eronger “Roger” Kornegay is one of five 2022 American Staffing Association (ASA) National Staffing Employee of the Year All-Stars. Kornegay, a former Cella employee and current Channel Marketing Manager at Nutanix, was named an All-Star in the Professional-Managerial sector.
Each year, ASA invites qualified staffing agencies to nominate their outstanding workers for the honor of National Staffing Employee of the Year. Winners are then announced during National Staffing Employee Week, Sept. 13–19. Established by the ASA, this commemorative week honors the millions of temporary and contract employees working for U.S. staffing agencies.
Kornegay exemplifies the staffing industry best practice of bridging, the ability to transition or “bridge” from a temporary or contract position to a permanent job. Cella placed Kornegay in his role with Nutanix where he is responsible for planning, executing and analyzing all marketing goals to achieve pipeline goals with the company’s B2B partners. In addition to his daily responsibilities, Kornegay also completed his college degree while working full-time for Nutanix and participated in mentorship and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
