We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Leader to take charge of developing and executing comprehensive seasonal and ongoing marketing strategies for a key product category. In this leadership role, you will spearhead a cross-functional team and work closely with departments such as e-commerce, merchandising, and creative to drive traffic, boost conversions, and deepen customer engagement.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities and project management expertise, alongside a proven talent for building collaborative relationships across stakeholders. You will oversee campaign development, optimize the digital customer journey, conduct competitive market analysis, and mentor a team of marketing specialists to achieve impactful results.

Onsite Monday through Friday with half days on Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of seasonal and ongoing marketing strategies for specific product categories. This involves guiding a diverse team encompassing insights, digital commerce, product merchandising, media, creative, and in-store visual teams.
  • Campaign Management: Craft comprehensive marketing briefs to ensure consistent messaging and impactful support across all internal and external partners.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Foster strong relationships with product merchandising teams to align on customer messaging, seasonal priorities, and promotional activities.
  • Strategy Execution & Refinement: Oversee the implementation of marketing strategies, ensuring they align with brand goals, market trends, and customer understanding.
  • Team & Project Oversight: Manage projects and workflows, mentoring marketing specialists to ensure timely delivery of high-quality assets and adherence to planning deadlines.
  • Digital Commerce Enhancement: Collaborate with digital commerce teams to optimize online customer experiences and improve overall omnichannel engagement.
  • Quality Assurance for Marketing Assets: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all marketing materials by working closely with creative, offer, and production teams.
  • Market Entry Planning: Contribute to the creation of quarterly marketing plans focused on increasing customer traffic, improving conversion rates, and leveraging seasonal opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, analyze competitor strategies, and identify leading marketing practices to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to foster the professional growth of team members.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is essential.
  • Professional Experience: Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in environments such as retail, consumer packaged goods, or an advertising agency working with major clients. A minimum of 2 years of management experience is also required, demonstrating a proven track record of building and leading successful teams.
  • Core Competencies: A solid grasp of customer insights, business analytics, and seasonal sales strategies is crucial for this position.

Skills:

  • Communication: You'll need excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to influence individuals across various levels.
  • Project Management: Being highly organized is critical, as you'll manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: We're looking for strong analytical abilities and a data-driven mindset to inform marketing strategy and decision-making.
  • Technical Proficiency: You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
