Compensation Range: $55 - 65 per hour
Our client in the financial services industry is seeking a Senior Content Designer based in Plano, TX, who will play crucial role in supporting projects to ensure they align with business objectives and timelines. This is a hybrid position and is expected to go in office 2-3 days per week in Plano, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine content, shape design strategies, and advocate for the customer in partnership with Experience Design, Research, Product Management, and Engineering teams within Connected Commerce.
- Ideate, prototype, and iterate on solutions to address customer needs, ensuring each step validates the problem and is focused on the customer.
- Engage in customer research to gain insights into user needs and behaviors, working closely with Experience Researchers to assess how solutions perform for end users.
- Integrate a variety of data sources, such as research findings and analytics, into the content strategy.
- Create and manage content elements (e.g., UI language, product education) and lead the approval and governance processes.
- Present content strategies and outcomes to leadership, clearly articulating the impact of content decisions.
- Contribute actively to the content system, including standards, voice and tone, messaging, and accessibility resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience through a recognized bootcamp or similar accelerated program.
- Self-sufficient in planning, structuring, and executing tasks with a high level of quality and minimal guidance.
- Experienced in collaborating within design teams (including Product Designers, UX Researchers, and Content Designers) and working cross-functionally with Product Managers and Engineers.
- Advanced proficiency in UX Writing and Information Architecture, with intermediate knowledge in areas like User Research, Interaction Design, and Visual UI Design.
- Skilled in applying brand and copy standards, including voice, tone, and style.
- Confident in presenting work to cross-functional directors and stakeholders.
- strong command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and general usage.
- Advocate for Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices.
- Proven experience delivering successful digital products with a user-centered design approach, with the ability to measure the impact of design decisions through data.
- Knowledgeable in navigating organizational structures for content compliance, including legal and accessibility reviews.
- Track record of using business understanding and product strategy to drive effective design outcomes.
