Interested in a Desktop Support Analyst position? We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Analyst for a large, well-known organization in Atlanta, GA! For this temporary hire position you will devise and execute solutions for workstation hardware and software issues & segments of more complex software problems. The Desktop Support Analyst will assist with the installation and support of new and upgraded workstation hardware and software, and ensure the integrity and optimal operation as assigned. Strong candidates will be customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of client resources. 

Desktop Support Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining an inventory of installed software, managing software licensing, and creating policies and procedures for upgrades. 
  • Working with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensuring that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule. 
  • Analyzing and making recommendations for hardware and software standardization 
  • Creating user accounts and managing access control based on company policies. 
  • Suggesting changes to existing policies and procedures, or assisting with the creation of new policies or procedures to improve the overall customer experience.  
  • Assist with the recommending and documenting of new hardware and software solutions that improve the associate workstation experience. 

Desktop Support Analyst Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience installing and supporting PC and laptop hardware and software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relationships computer-related field or equivalent work experience 
  • Extensive experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity. 
  • Professional certifications from entities such as HDI (Desktop Support Technician or Support Center Analyst), CompTIA or Microsoft (Microsoft Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator), preferred
