Compensation Range: $120,000 - 130,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to lead and shape our client's brand across multiple platforms!

This role will oversee media strategies, influencer and brand collaborations, and social media management to drive ROI, boost brand awareness, capture market share, and engage with a broad customer base. This a direct-hire, hybrid opportunity in which candidates must be local to New York, NY!

Responsibilities:
Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase social media followers, engagement, and brand awareness, while driving traffic and sales.
  • Oversee social media accounts, ensuring content aligns with brand voice and supports product and sales goals.

Influencer Partnerships

  • Identify and manage relationships with influencers who align with brand values.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure influencer content supports marketing objectives.

Media Planning and Execution

  • Create and manage media strategies across digital, print, and broadcast platforms.
  • Maintain media relationships and manage press release distribution.
  • Support and promote company events, capturing content for media and social platforms.
  • Oversee external media agencies.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, setting clear goals and KPIs.
  • Conduct performance reviews and foster a collaborative, innovative team culture.

Brand Strategy Development

  • Contribute to brand strategy, ensuring consistency across marketing channels.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust strategies as needed.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Use analytics tools to track campaign performance and ROI.
  • Report regularly to senior management on marketing outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Manager
  • Minimum 8 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in social media, influencer marketing, and media planning.
  • Strong understanding of online marketing strategies and best practices.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
