We are looking for a passionate and creative Marketing Project Coordinator to join our client's dynamic team! As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing internal project coordination services to efficiently initiate, schedule, and manage projects through the creative marketing process.
This is a hybrid, ongoing opportunity in which candidates must be commutable to Frisco, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Own the flow of projects through the Studio Department.
- Understand the Studio timelines and dependencies for typical marketing communications projects.
- Initiate projects by identifying and applying appropriate project schedules in project management system, and assigning jobs based on resource availability.
- Day-to-day tactical point of contact for client and creative team.
- Monitor schedule changes and make necessary adjustments.
- Identify and rectify issues that may impact project completion.
- Coordinate approval process with client and creative team.
- Lead project kick off meetings, create and maintain weekly status reports.
- Ensure files are complete, accurate, and adhere to proper naming conventions.
- Act as the liaison between client and creative team, ensuring a positive work environment.
- Identify problems and suggest solutions to improve processes when necessary.
- Attend and participate in training sessions, continually update personal technical knowledge of Workfront.
- Routinely interact with client representatives, project leads, marketing managers, writers, artists, production, and technical staff, as well as outside agency partners.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- 3 years of project coordination experience (or equivalent) required.
- Degree (2 or 4 year) in Marketing Communications or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in marketing, communications or related field is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and organized, high level of professionalism and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of creative process for print and digital work.
- Comfortable communicating with all levels of clients, up to Directors.
- Problem solving skills for standard, tactical project management activities.
- Technical proficiency in a department-wide project management system.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
