We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/Visual Designer to join our client's dynamic team for a hybrid contract role in Philadelphia!
As a UI/Visual Designer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the user experience through innovative design solutions. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating pixel-perfect interfaces and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the user interface, identifying issues, proposing solutions, and executing UI designs to enhance user experience.
- Develop pixel-perfect, world-class user interfaces and visually stunning designs.
- Deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines in an agile product environment.
- Create interactive prototypes for internal testing and experimentation, utilizing data-driven insights to refine UI designs.
- Demonstrate expertise in usability and accessibility standards, collaborating with visual and interface design disciplines.
- Recommend UI features based on deep understanding of user needs.
- Write comprehensive style guides and design specifications for engineering implementation.
- Provide ongoing support, communication, and revisions throughout the development phase.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and ensure design integrity is upheld.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Education: Bachelors
- A portfolio showcasing recent e-commerce designs, with experience in mobile site and/or app design preferred.
- Minimum 5-8 years of UI and visual design experience in a digital agency or product team.
- Proven experience leading the development of digital design systems.
- Expertise in iconography, symbol design, and data visualization.
- Exceptional typesetting and typographic design skills.
- Deep understanding of cross-platform web/mobile usability standards and UI specifications.
- Familiarity with the design and technical aspects of leading email and browser technology.
- Ability to take projects from conceptualization to final production assets.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work alongside copywriters and stakeholders for successful marketing launches.
