Job Title: Image Production Designer
Location: New York, New York
Type: Freelance / Contract
Description: Well known client in the tech space looking for Image Production Designer to join their team for a long-term contract. Will be responsible for creating, updating and optimizing images to be used throughout many areas of their large, public website. Would be offsite for now but prefers local to NYC.

Image Production Designer Responsibility:
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative software and familiarity with other current design software
  • Highly skilled in Sketch & Invision design tools
  • Highly knowledgeable in Scene 7 or comparable asset management software (opportunity for Scene 7 training; previous experience not required)
  • Highly organized and able to keep a consistent file system for working files and assets
  • Experienced in photo-manipulation, optimization, and high-quantity throughput.
  • Maintains site appearance by learning and enforcing brand guidelines for their own design work as well as reviewing work from other team members and external agencies.
  • Able to creatively and effectively problem solve.
  • Work directly with stakeholders and developers to ensure consistency across all areas of the website.
  • Communicate with the project management team throughout all stages of project ensuring project milestones are met.

Image Production Designer Requirements / Skills:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years experience in design preferred.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of design practices.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple/simultaneous projects and/or initiatives.
  • Highly responsive and proactive, supporting leaders and team.
  • Proven ability to work and interact with multiple stakeholder groups and agencies/vendors.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and under pressure of very stringent deadlines.
  • Must have Microsoft Office & G Suite skills.
  • Possess problem solving and analytical skills.
