Jr Graphic Designer (Hybrid)

Location: Washington, Washington, D.C.

Compensation Range: $28 - 29 per hour

Our non-profit client is seeking a talented part-time Jr Graphic Designer to join their team. This role focuses on executing design projects for our upcoming Winter Conference, including both print and digital materials. The ideal candidate will bring an eye for detail and a proven ability to deliver polished, professional designs within brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Associate Director of Marketing and Director of Marketing to execute visually compelling designs for the Winter Conference.
• Create printed materials, including flyers, pamphlets, and other conference collateral.
• Design digital assets for online distribution, adhering to brand and style guidelines.
• Develop video and animation content to enhance marketing efforts (preferred, but not required).
• Ensure timely delivery of design projects, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in graphic or production design.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or similar.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience in print and digital design, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Familiarity with video editing and animation tools is a plus.
• Organizational and communication skills to work effectively with the marketing team.
• Ability to execute designs based on established concepts and guidelines without requiring significant conceptual development.
