Job Title: Production Designer
Location: Ridgefield, Connecticut
Type: Remote
Our client, a Connecticut-based pharmaceutical company, is currently seeking a talented and innovative Production Designer to join their Creative Operations Studio department on a contract basis. While this role starts in a remote capacity, the client is seeking candidates who are commutable to Ridgefield, Connecticut, at a later date. 

The Production Designer will be responsible for producing a wide range of projects, including print, presentation design, e-mail, web projects, and more across several of the company's brands. The role will include opportunities to support a senior member of the Creative Operations team, work closely with the organization's marketing teams, and assist with campaign development.
Production Designer Responsibilities
  • Responsible to provide design, production and administrative support to the Creative Operations Studio Team, under the direction of the assigned senior department team member
  • Work with Creative Operations team and other internal business partners to perform creative tasks throughout the creative process on both digital and print assets such as emails, banner ads, micro sites, brochures, newsletters, etc.
  • Redesigning derivative work originated by company’s external agency partners
  • Manages content expertly through Medical Legal Review (MLR) process from submission and performs key agency related tasks for promotional and scientific/ medical content
  • Meeting production support including designing theme graphics, on-site signage, PowerPoint Deck clean ups and updates - ensuring design standards are met

Production Designer Requirements + Skills
  • Strong graphic design skills and be fluent in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Self-motivated; ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Experience building HTML5 e-mails
  • Experience with Sketch
  • Experience designing web banners and websites
  • Strong print experience, building mechanicals and delivering artwork files to print vendors
  • Preference for those who have worked in pharma previously
  • Strong plus if candidate has worked previously with Veeva Vault
  • Ability to share sample work through an online creative portfolio
