Cella is looking for a skilled Production Coordinator for our leading retail client. In this role you will support the Producer(s) to execute photo or video shoots in all phases and aspects of production. The ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, a great communicator and work well with others in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

This is a long-term contract onsite in Los Angeles, California.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Work cross-functionally to maintain strong communication with internal teams to collect information regarding imagery needs and requests, and relay information on logistics and timing as needed.
  • Facilitate communication and logistics for photo shoots and schedules with internal teams, as well as outside talent and crew.
  • Utilize internal tools and platforms for information and documentation in pre-production, production and post-production phases of photography or videography.
  • Assists in file sharing between internal and external teams.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail while working within a broad range of formats.
  • Provide pre-production, production and post-production support as needed, in areas that include, but are not limited to:
    • casting; locations; sourcing crews, props, and equipment; sample coordination; compiling shot lists and decks; estimates, costs, and billing; and, retouching workflow.
  • Distribute and/or post communications and information such as shotlists, schedules, and decks.
  • Obtain signatures from crew and talent.
  • Verify paperwork and/or identification.
  • Move or arrange for equipment, merchandise, and furniture to accommodate production, crew and talent.
  • Facilitate catering and craft services.
  • Manage proper maintenance of wardrobe, props and samples; ensuring safe practices, and a safe environment, within the studio or other locations.

Qualifications:

  • A background with a major retailer preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in professional photo and/or video production, or related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook. Adobe Acrobat.
  • Works well with others.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
