Are you a talented Digital Graphic Designer with a strong background in web design and social media and email banners for consumer brands? If so, we have a TTP opportunity for you to develop your career and work for a large retail company located in Morgantown, PA! Qualified candidates must have working knowledge of HTML and 4+ years of experience in Graphic Design. The principal objective of this role is to support the marketing and branding teams with creative strategy, visual story development and graphic design for digital and print media.

  • Support marketing and branding strategies through creating and producing graphic assets for digital media, web, email, social media, event marketing and print media.  
  • Participate in further development of pre-existing brand guidelines and support in development of templates to maintain brand consistency with all marketing efforts (digital and print media).  
  • Design and maintain customized web brand pages, website ads, promo areas and graphics digital campaigns and product launches and other various digital collateral.
  • Design and maintain product cartons, point of sale messaging, product catalogs, consumer brochures, sales presentations and other various print collateral.
  • Create strategy, concepts and design of line art, illustrations and all technical graphics.
  • Strategize and develop product graphic and visual story development, along with potential copy exploration and with full graphic packages to tell technical stories in a compelling way.
  • Establish shot lists and photography scenarios and communicate asset capture needs to photographers and/or brand team members.  
  • Oversee the creative side of the capture at lifestyle photoshoots.  
  • Develop and refine corporate identify marks/logos, on occasion.  
  • Regular carton point of sale and point of purchase product graphic development.
  • Oversee and develop all on product graphic, copy and icon systems across multi-brands and products.  
  • Originate concept, strategy and design of website and microsite development. 
  • Develop desktop and mobile design and prototyping. Minimal or no coding experience required.
  • Design display graphics for shop in shops, international trade shows, baby shows and store displays.
  • Ability to originate custom 3D design architectural development and specifications in SketchUp or another 3D design program, a plus.
  • Help with selection and approval process for product and lifestyle photography.
  • Provide Photoshop re-touching and color correction for product and lifestyle photography along with training, managing and providing quality control for other in-house and out of house, freelance photo editors.

  • Minimum of four (4) years of digital design.
  • Strong creative digital and print portfolio demonstrating good use of typography, grid-based design, white space and color theory.
  • Demonstrated success leading graphic design projects for multiple brands.
  • Industry experience in consumer products highly desirable.
  • Experience working with a multi-national organization a plus.
  • Experience with digital postproduction for print, color correction techniques and to edit in multiple color profiles
  • Degree: B.A. or B.F.A. in Graphic Design or related field required.
  • Proficient with design nuances – both physical (able to deconstruct the technique that was used to create a design) and mental (able to see multiple perspectives about a design and the emotions that a design could possibly invoke)
  • Comprehensive understanding of photography including file formats, sizes, applications and terminology.
  • Proficient in editing, Product photography by creating clipping paths, drop shadows, adjusting color, masking, sharpening, resizing, etc.
  • Lifestyle photography by minimally correcting only essential elements while staying true to the original nature of the natural lifestyle photography.
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • MS Office on a Mac OSX platform
  • Flexible to work extended hours as business needs warrant
