Our client, a Fortune 500 retail company, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for their agency, bridging the gap between the creative team and their clients!

In this role, you will be assessing client needs, guiding them through the creative process, proposing solutions, and collaborating closely with project management to ensure timely project delivery.

To excel in this role, you need to be driven, solution-focused, and possess a strategic mindset, motivating the creative team to surpass client expectations while efficiently overseeing campaigns and projects. Ultimately, a top-tier advertising Account Manager is strategic, detail-oriented, organized, and ambitious.

This is a hybrid role in which candidates must be local to LA or San Bruno.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Drive accountability of Partner's business and marketing objectives to inform and drive integrated campaign solutions that generate measurable results.
  • Act as the overall day-to-day lead on integrated campaign development and production, ensuring campaigns are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain consistent and thorough communication with Partners on all project status, timing, and delivery.
  • Ensure all ideas and concepts remain on brief and deliver against agreed KPIs and objectives.
  • Oversee integrated campaign workflow, timings, and process to determine and drive priorities and ensure milestones are met.
  • Create creative briefs ensuring all work aligns with brand objectives and KPIs.
  • Oversee 360 full-funnel campaign development and execution for both paid and owned assets.
  • Manage the campaign production budget and consider cost efficiencies.
  • Act as agency lead when working with external agencies.
  • Mentor and train Associate Account Managers, driving their success within the agency.
  • Identify incremental opportunities within the work and find cost-effective ways to implement them.
  • Effectively articulate a POV (or presentation) to the internal team.
  • Actively manage Associate Account Manager's workload, driving workflow and providing mentorship.

Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or relevant field.
  • 5-8 years experience as an agency Account Supervisor or Sr Account Manager.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a retail environment or other high-volume industry.
  • Experience in project management tools including Smartsheet & Workfront.
  • Excellent understanding of advertising methods and techniques.
  • Understanding of account management fundamentals.
  • Strategic and creative integrated thinker.
  • Strong understanding of Walmart's business.
  • Strong and persuasive communicator.
  • Leader mindset.
  • Action-oriented, always prepared, and follows through.
