Fantastic opportunity for a Vice President of Marketing, that is hybrid based in Alexandria, VA! Our client is seeking someone to partner with other leadership team members to execute the current strategic plan and develop plans to grow the association. This person will ensure performance, strategy, and alignment with the organization's revenue-generating departments. Oversee sales and marketing efforts to drive business growth across all customer segments and profiles and share accountability with the marketing function to improve the individual customer experience and strategy.
In this role, you'll build creative teams committed to excellence, monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjust as necessary to create sustainable growth, and select and manage all external agencies and consultants that execute the marketing and communications plans.

- Ensure the organizations digital assets (web, communication, social, etc) align with the brand
- Create and drive the organization’s branding and marketing strategy
- Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities, providing competitive analysis, strategies, and tactics
- Stay well-connected with members to ensure broad market needs are being incorporated into the product development and enhancement cycle
- Collaborate with finance, membership, learning and development, and marketing on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue goals
- Increase and maximize cross sell and upsell opportunities designed to increase customer acquisition and retention.
- Identify and resolve issues across the marketing/sales and account management functions
- Creates and maintains department budget
- Participate in contract negotiations
- 10+ years in diversified leadership roles, using marketing to drive revenue growth. Prefer B to B experience.
- Proven track record of growing revenue through new product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships
- Strong analytical, big picture thinking and leadership skills to develop marketing campaigns aimed at increasing loyalty, retention, and the lifetime value of the customer.
- Ability to present and effectively communicate marketing strategy to the executive team and the board
- Established track record in spearheading successful integrated marketing and communication strategies with measurable results
- Strong analytical skills and passion for analyzing products, competitors, and market dynamics. Can quickly synthesize disparate data into a ‘position’ and craft messaging that connects with a diverse audience of stakeholders, including customers and executives
- Proven ability to analyze reports, dashboards, data, business metrics and other tools to make critical decisions and recommendations to help lead the company to achieve its objectives and goals.
- Proven experience developing and executing business strategy
- Significant general management and P&L experience
- Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach
- Strong technical experience with Salesforce, email automation platforms and analytics.
