Job Title: Content Marketing Manager

Our client is looking for a talented Content Marketing Manager to expand their content marketing efforts and process. Qualified candidates will have experience and a passion for developing successful campaigns across a variety of channels, as well as excellent copywriting skills. This person will also need to have exceptional communication & interpersonal skills and can interface with cross-functional teams with ease. This role is a contract-to-hire opportunity! 

Content Marketing Manager Responsibilities: 
  • Collaborate with team members on content tactics regarding web, social media, and paid advertising
  • Establish processes that enable ongoing and efficient content creation to support crafting the brand's content marketing strategy and workflow
  • Strategize, plan, and produce all digital and written content, including blogs, email, SEO copy, and video
  • Collaborate with in-house creative team on end-to-end production of content, including visual assets (photography, video and curation) and copywriting
  • Listen and recommend new strategies, activities, and campaigns to answer consumer questions and create an enhanced consumer experience
  • Ensure brand consistency in style, quality, and tone of voice
  • Drive traffic and engagement that results in enhanced brand equity and sales

Content Marketing Manager Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in content development
  • 1-2 years of proven experience leading content marketing efforts, ideally in CPG (consumer, packaging, & goods)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or other related field or equivalent combination of training and work experience
  • Excellent copywriting skills and experience writing for different audiences while maintaining the brand voice
  • Strong understanding of best practices for digital content including social media, email, and web to maximize engagement
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers and within diverse groups to obtain cooperation and maximum effort
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated with excellent time management and strong decision-making skills needed to manage workflow processes, timelines and deadlines
  • Travel: Domestic and international up to 10% possible
  • Ability to work overtime as business needs warrant
