We are looking for a seasoned, innovative Creative Account Manager to join our client's team and serve as the vital link between their in-house agency's creative team and clients!

As a Creative Account Manager, you will be responsible for understanding and articulating client needs, guiding them through the creative process, recommending solutions, and collaborating closely with project management to ensure the timely execution of all campaigns and projects.

You will play a crucial role in the success of our client's campaigns by inspiring the creative team, managing client expectations, and ensuring that all projects align with clients' strategic goals. This role requires a strategic thinker who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven to deliver exceptional results.

This is a hybrid role in which candidates must be local to San Bruno, CA.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the day-to-day lead on integrated campaign development, ensuring a deep understanding of the client's business, products, objectives, and challenges.
  • Develop campaigns and strategies, partnering proactively with marketing counterparts for quarterly planning of ongoing and seasonal campaigns.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of integrated campaigns, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. This includes managing workflows, timelines, and processes in collaboration with project management.
  • Maintain consistent and thorough communication with clients regarding project status, timing, and delivery.
  • Ensure all creative work is aligned with client objectives and KPIs.
  • Create and manage creative briefs that guide the creative team in developing work that meets client goals.
  • Oversee 360° campaign execution across various channels, including video, digital, social, signage, and site.
  • Manage campaign budgets and explore cost efficiencies.
  • Mentor and train Associate Account Managers, helping them to manage their workloads and develop their skills.
  • Represent the agency in client meetings, articulate points of view, and ensure that the creative output meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Identify incremental opportunities within the work and find creative and cost-effective ways to implement them.

Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience as an agency Account Supervisor, Senior Account Manager, or similar role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail environment or other high-volume industry.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet and Workfront.
  • Excellent understanding of advertising methods and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of account management fundamentals, including issue resolution, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to combine business, communication, and creative strategy to drive effective campaigns. Must be both a strategist and a creative thinker.
  • Deep understanding of client businesses, both culturally and organizationally, to build strong relationships.
  • Highly persuasive presenter and writer with the ability to convey ideas clearly and compellingly to any audience.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team, fostering ambition, enthusiasm, and high morale.
  • Proactive, decisive, and able to drive outcomes quickly. Always prepared and follows through on commitments.
