Job Title: Digital Content Manager
Location: Kenilworth, New Jersey
Type: Freelance / Contract
We have a client looking to add a Digital Content Manager to their team! The Digital Content Manager provides tactical and production support for the Global Enterprise Websites including production of the media types necessary to support each (e.g., video, audio, photo, text). Specializing in the Content Management System (CMS) and software required to produce high-quality communications digital assets. This position will steward and maintain the tools required to effectively utilize the CMS provided by IT (Word Press VIP) and other external partners (Google Analytics) 

  • Executes on regular site maintenance
  • Conducts internal search optimization​
  • Oversees site integrity
  • link scans, testing of all new content across platforms and devices
  • Ensures page performance (under 3 second load-time)​ 
  • Owns responsibility for 100% accuracy of links, content rendering, versioning of content and assets 
  • Manages day-to-day relationship with IT Support
  • Coordinates activities with IT support as needed to ensure timely delivery of communications materials 
  • Executes on regular site updates 
  • Publishes content within the site modules
  • Optimizes, resizes images​
  • Optimizes video and podcast content​
  • Proofs all content​
  • Ensures that all pages include metadata, alt tags and utags​
  • Ensures compliance with all content and coding including trademark
  • Maintains 100% alignment to the
  • Site design system
  • Reusable content framework and
  • Responsive design Provides support for communications metrics
  • Ensures all page coding and content aligns to SEO strategy
  • Counsels content creators on best practices to ensure content is aligned to SEO strategy Taxonomy, and Accessibility 
  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Communications or related field 
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Digital Communications experience 
  • Creative and innovative approaches to using technology to deliver effective communications 
  • Proven content management skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks 
  • Experience providing tactical support to a global organization as a shared service is highly desirable 
  • Must be a self-starter, quick learner and be able to deliver under deadlines 
  • Experience utilizing Enterprise CMS systems and portals
  • Applications required: 
    • MS OFFICE 365 
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
