Are you an experienced Content Writer who is skilled in Global Enterprise Websites? If so, we have an Ongoing, FT opportunity for you to develop your career and work for a Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical client of ours based in Kenilworth, NJ! Qualified candidates must have extensive Pharmaceutical industry experience with uploading, designing, and creating editorial content within Websites and CMS. The Digital Content Manager provides editorial and operational support for the organization's Global Enterprise Websites within Corporate Communications, Channels & Content team. You will be driving a new digital editorial process with stakeholders from concept to “go live”. In addition, you will manage the corporate websites and their CMS and lead site updates across the business. You will also be responsible for helping execute on the digital content strategy.

  • Supports the digital editorial process for corporate websites: ​ 
  • Manages end-to-end digital editorial process with stakeholders
  • Ability to create own written content, including editing and proofreading
  • Leads stakeholder review and manages stakeholder process
  • Reviews and edits content to meet best-in-class website standards including our website requirements, UX, accessibility and SEO strategies 
  • Works with stakeholders to tailor content to the modular design system
  • Ensures content meets brand guidelines
  • Manages taxonomy selection for content
  • Coordinates and communicates cross-channel activation to promote website stories within a content operations platform
  • Supports change management of new digital editorial process
Prepares content for legal reviews:
  • Proactively reviews content to meet legal requirements
  • Prepares and annotates content for legal reviews
  • Submits content into the legal review system and schedules content for review
  • Manages content throughout the legal approval process
Manages the corporate websites and CMS as well as managing site updates across the business:
  • Stewards and maintains the WordPress VIP modular design system
  • Uploads and designs editorial content within the modular system
  • Leads stakeholder reviews of designed content
  • Works with stakeholders to apply feedback
  • Tests and proofs content
  • Executes on site strategy and supports content curation on pages
  • Works across the business, including Investor Relations and Media teams, to make routine updates to the websites
  • Routinely audits website to ensure everything is functioning correctly
Supports the review of data reported by the analytics team
  • Participates in analytic report read outs
  • Reviews reported data and identifies applicable editorial learnings
  • Applies learnings to shape future content
  • Works with analytic team to understand SEO trends and apply to content creation
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of digital content production experience in Pharmaceutical
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field
  • Strong experience working within Content Management Systems, including WordPress VIP
  • Strong experience leading digital content production from concept to go-live
  • Strong stakeholder management experience and ability to build relationships
  • Effectively review and edit content to meet web, UX, brand and SEO standards
  • Project management experience
  • Experience writing digital content for SEO
  • Ability to interpret and action on data and metrics reports
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage many projects at once
  • Creative and eager to improve process and find new solutions
  • Self-starter with attention to detail and deadline oriented 
  • Positive and adaptable attitude
