Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Manage the production of marketing content; actively develop marketing content in a variety of formats (eBooks, guides, blogs, social graphics, etc.), within the established visual identity system of the organization
  • Determine the types of marketing content the audience is looking for and optimizes the path to conversion
  • Build and manage the marketing content calendar that attracts a qualified audience, including but not limited to: Blog posts, eBooks, Social campaigns, Email campaigns
  • Grow new leads and digital subscriber base by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content
  • In partnership with the Program Manager, work in concert with the Program team to oversee the production schedule and provide creative direction for client-facing resources (powerpoint decks, handouts, signage, etc.)
  • Measure and optimize content marketing effectiveness on a regular and ongoing basis
  • Manage creative resources and both internal and external relationships with designers, writers, and other vendors
  • Ensure consistency and successful representation of the client's brand across all projects
  • Assists in: The overall marketing strategy for the client, the creative thought and execution of brand related projects, capturing in-the-moment events and activities for social and brand purposes, Executing marketing campaigns and communication projects

Marketing Coordinator Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media (or related field), or equivalent work experience
  • Typically requires 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Experience with Wordpress, Google Analytics, MailChimp (or other email marketing service provider), Microsoft Office products, and the top social channels; Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Suite and project management systems
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
  • A good eye for typography, layout, illustration, and art direction that falls in step with visual identity standards
  • Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
  • Demonstrates ability to relate well with others while collaborating in a team environment
  • Flexible to work on a variety of assignments with the ability to learn quickly
  • Demonstrates ability to self-manage projects and have strong time-management skills
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
