Our client is seeking a SEO/Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team in New York, NY. 

SEO/Digital Marketing Specialist Responsibilities: 

  • Spearhead SEO strategies to enhance the search engine visibility of clients’ brands
  • Conduct and analyze website audits and performance to further increase SEO optimization
  • Handle clients Search Engine Optimization, Content marketing and Social Media Optimization projects
  • Create website optimization strategy, project management plan and execute technical optimization and content syndication (Off-page) activities as per current user and search engine trend
  • Ability to create preliminary and brief technical, content, and link audits to provide insight for website optimization
  • Track all keyword phrases and website pages to allow for analysis of trends in traffic and exposure
  • Research keyword phrases to identify most beneficial opportunities for targeting and content creation
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization to execute on- page strategies that support a consistent content theme
  • Audit and monitor client websites to bring up to current usability and SEO standards
  • Communicate SEO strategy/recommendations and report on organic website performance to Account Managers and clients
  • Stay up-to-date on latest algorithm updates, industry trends, and news and work accordingly on projects
  • Continue to learn and develop SEO skills
  • Ability to develop and handle client communication through emails and weekly meetings
  • Analyze online user behavior, conversion data, customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution
SEO/Digital Marketing Specialist Skill/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Business, Communications, Marketing or related field. Master’s degree in related field is a plus
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience with SEO and Digital Marketing
  • At least 2 years of agency experience
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the most up-to-date SEO best practices
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint and ability to lead presentations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g. VLOOKUPS, PivotTables, advanced formulas, etc.)
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search, Console, and other Analytics tools
  • Proficient in SEM Rush, Moz, Ahrefs, and other SEO Tools
  • Experience creating content strategies and plans based on keyword research
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress and Magento
  • Experience targeting specific goals, focused metrics, and KPIs when setting SEO strategy
  • Knowledge of content planning, content strategy, and content calendar creation
  • Knowledge of PPC campaign management is a plus
