Our Financial client is seeking a temp-to-hire UX Copywriter. This is a temp to hire position that can be fully remote, though candidates local to Wilmington, DE are preferred. In this role, you will help to convey the brand while playing a key role in the product discovery and development process, working hand-in-hand with our design, product, research, and analytics teams to build and execute effective content plans.
The right candidate will be an artful storyteller with the ability to own content end-to-end. In this role, you will be successful if you love writing and storytelling, have a deep understanding of how to effectively translate a brand voice, and have experience writing across a variety of digital channels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, write, edit, test, and improve UX copy for product experiences, including user flows, landing pages, products, and more across web and mobile
- Think through projects strategically and creatively, from ideation through production, working cross-functionally with partners in research, data analytics, marketing, design, product, and engineering
- Help strategize, implement, and maintain a consistent content strategy throughout the product experience, deeply understanding how customers interact with the client, using data to inform decisions, and building alignment between UX and marketing content
- Assist in the creation of wireframes, mockups, and task flows to effectively communicate UX content ideas
- Create with the customer/consumer in mind – their journey and experience with us should be seamless and friction-free
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Advertising, or a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience writing UX and product copy
- Experience supporting the full product development process, from inception to launch to iteration
- Intermediate Figma skills, including working directly in Figma files, writing content, commenting on/critiquing designs, and mapping out content flows
- Experience with content strategy development/copy auditing/competitive audit experience Prior experience working in finance or related field, preferred
- Consumer brand experience with a strong online component
