Our client is looking for a talented Brand Marketing Manager to join their team for a direct-hire opportunity in Neptune, NJ!

Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you'll craft and execute dynamic brand plans that not only meet but exceed sales, gross margin, and EBIT targets.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping our client's product portfolio, from inception to sunset, ensuring offerings remain competitive and compelling in the market. Guiding a cross-functional innovation team, you'll shepherd projects through various stages, leveraging data-driven decision-making to fuel success.

Effective collaboration and communication skills will be essential in our client's matrixed organization, as you navigate cross-functional relationships across various geographies and time zones. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, balancing multiple priorities and projects with finesse and attention to detail. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement effective brand strategies to surpass sales, margin, and EBIT targets.
  • Manage product lifecycle from launch to discontinuation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams for innovation projects.
  • Craft comprehensive launch plans for new products and extensions.
  • Collaborate with sales on customer programming.
  • Work with creative teams for consumer-driven content.
  • Serve as consumer voice and category expert.
  • Analyze market trends and data for informed decision-making.
  • Develop pricing strategies to meet margin goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 2-5 years of brand marketing experience.
  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods preferred, with Pet industry experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with leading new product innovation initiatives, including pipeline management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Digital marketing experience advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience working with Scan Data, Nielsen, or IRI preferred.
